team.blue is looking for a motivated and experienced Support Engineer for our Signet brand. The Support Engineer is an essential part of our customer journey and is responsible for handling technical questions. You play an important role in resolving incidents in collaboration with our team of technicians. For this, someone must also be a natural communication miracle, with a predilection for network technology. If this describes you, then we are looking for you!


What your day will look like

You focus entirely on Signet's business customer base. You provide technical support to our customers, both by telephone and by e-mail. You work in simple, but also in very complex network environments to provide and configure internet and network services. You will also work on-call services in rotation and you will be supported by your colleagues.

With a good cup of coffee in front of you, you can get started with your to-dos and tickets. Where you need support, you can count on your teammates; everything to achieve the objectives. You work hard in a young, dynamic environment, surrounded by ambition. At the end of the week there is time for reflection: what went well, what could possibly be improved. At these moments you share your opinion openly and honestly with your colleagues and in this way improve the functioning of the team. For example, you are jointly responsible for the continuous improvement of customer satisfaction, cooperation and our product.

Please note that beside the projects and tasks described above, we also expect you to participate in our pager duty shifts. This entails being first respondent to specific alerts raised outside office hours.


What you have

A positive and experienced Support Engineer with a solid technical background that exudes customer satisfaction. You can easily work independently and in a team. You are also strong in communication and you are not afraid of a steep learning curve. You not only solve the problems you encounter, but you proactively find out what is really going on and you think ahead to arrive at a constructive solution. You are Signet's calling card and you get energy from a successful conversation with a customer.

  • Basic knowledge of network protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, SIP, etc.).
  • Experience with Unix systems (especially Linux) is an advantage
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong Communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Minimum MBO + working and thinking level
  • Ability to work pager duty shifts
  • Living within the Netherlands
