team.blue is looking for a motivated and experienced developer for our UX Design Unit. Together with the lead designer within your project team and other Units within our organisation, you take care of the entire user experience of a product. So we're looking for developers who want to think ahead and make a large-scale impact. They can take cool and innovative features from pitch to production and pinpoint problems with ease. If this describes you, then you' re the one we're looking for!
What your day will look like
You create the optimal user experience for more than 300,000 customers. You don't do this alone, of course, because you work under the wing of our senior front-end developers and designers. Together you will come up with creative and appropriate user experiences for our various brands and their associated products.
Within project teams you will be doing everything from improving the VPS section in the control panel one week, to diving into the look-and-feel of the domain name ordering process the next. You can always count on your teammates to achieve your shared goals.
You work hard in a young, dynamic environment, surrounded by ambition. At the end of the week there is time for reflection: what went well, and what could be better. During these moments you share your opinion openly and honestly with your colleagues and in this fashion you improve the performance of the team. Alongside everyone you share responsibility for the development of the product.
What you have
You are a positive and experienced developer who is versatile and not a one-trick pony in terms of programming languages. Your focus is on PHP, but you also know a lot more. You would dare to describe yourself as a Full Stack Developer. In addition, you are a strong communicator and are not afraid of a steep learning curve. You don't just solve the problems you encounter, but find out what's really going on and think ahead to find and implement a constructive solution.
- In-depth knowledge of the PHP programming language,
- A passion for UI/UX design
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- A HBO level of education
A note on remote
Covid has changed how we work, in many ways for the better! While we can’t wait for offices to re-open, being at the office isn't always needed to get the best out of your day. This shift to a new way of working is new for all of us, but we are getting there. Taking advantage of the best of both worlds means communicating more, collaborating more online and reimagining teamwork for the digital age.
