Your opportunity

With a strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tweakers, Reddit etc) the Social Media Specialist maintains, develops and implements social media marketing initiatives to grow engagement and following for all team.blue brands in the Netherlands. This includes creating strong posts as well as managing social media campaigns/paid advertising on social channels.

What your day will look like

  • Create and execute day-to-day social media marketing efforts
  • Understand how to make engaging content and write social posts to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and connect with audiences
  • Have a working knowledge of creating, scheduling, and measuring the performance of social content
  • Manage paid social media campaigns: strategy, target audience definition, channel mix, budget management and performance measurement.
  • Create and manage a social content calendar, and push to produce thoughtful, creative and effective social content
  • Brief our in-house graphic designer to produce any visual and/or editorial assets necessary to accompany social content
  • Able to use the right tone of voice for each team.blue brand to connect with target audiences - ensure message, tone and brand consistency across all social media platforms per team.blue brand
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating a brand community
  • Compile regular performance report of posts and campaigns: including user engagement, audience growth, content performance, clicks, revenue and ROI
  • Work with the Support teams across team.blue brands to create guidelines and templates when responding to user questions on social media
  • Help Support teams to craft messaging when replying to social media Support issues from users


What you have

  • Preferred but not required: graphic design skills
  • Strong affinity with tech audiences and tech topics
  • Fluent in Dutch and English as content is in both languages
  • Living within The Netherlands
  • Self starter
  • A requirement for this position is the Dutch language
