Your opportunity

As a Product Marketeer you are responsible for the growth of the VDX and STACK brands in the Netherlands by determining and communicating relevant and distinctive product propositions. This includes developing marketing strategy and plans, campaigns, customer communication - based on customer insights and analytics. A good understanding of our target group and our products is very important here. The relationship you build with the Product teams is also crucial. You will work in the Product Marketing team of VDX and STACK and receive support from the Central Marketing team of where in-house content can be written, designed and filmed - based on your briefings. This team acts as your extension and, in addition to content development, can also execute digital marketing campaigns under your guidance.

What your day will look like

  • Developing customer acquisition strategy and our alignment of our value propositions with our strategy
  • Understanding of competitive landscape and customer insights via research, create loops from customer care and sales for insights, etc – and feedback to technology team and support development of new value proposition & innovations;
  • Work across the isle with brands to expore potential to cross-sell services to other customer bases.
  • Regular evaluation and improvement of products & services portfolio, exploring opportunities with sales channels & customers to improve perception & value of our services;
  • Develop strategy and own the plan for ‘customer base development´ which is focused on managing value of customers – via MRR/customer protection, Upsell campaigns, Downsell mitigation tactics, etc
  • Design and execute a churn reduction plan to improve tenure and customer lifetime value. Plans could include Reactive Retention tactics (when customer initiates cancellation) and Proactive retention tactics such as ‘predictive churn models’ based on certain customer behaviours or patterns (before customer initiates cancellation).
  • Work closely with Analytics to develop analysis and potential target groups for some of the above campaigns. And simultaneously work with CMU & Analytics teams to automate campaign execution, tracking and conversions.
  • Project management related to initiatives: cross-functional role to ensure development of propositions and promotions with targeted communication to drive lead generation, nurturing funnels and ultimately driving better conversions for new or existing customer initiatives.

What you have

In addition to existing product marketing experience, you are data-driven and versatile. You understand the product and our technically inclined customers; connecting them together is your best challenge. You are also strong in communication and you are not afraid of a steep learning curve.

  • You have extensive and measurable experience with marketing or selling online tech products
  • You are a doer with a sense of commerce
  • Affinity with tech and entrepreneurship is a plus
  • HBO working or thinking level
  • You can inspire people both internally and externally
  • Sales and commerce are in your blood
