As our new UX Designer you create fitting product experiences for multiple brands across team.blue.
Together with our other ux designers, developers, and creatives you contribute your expertise to further evolving our ux design framework. This framework allows us to accelerate fitting ux design across our organisation in a scalable manner. Giving people from all disciplines the possibility to contribute to crafting fitting experiences for their brands.
You apply a user centred design approach when working on projects and are able to navigate complex problems internal stakeholders throw at you. Mainly because before you present a design or suggest a recommendation you always reason from the process, customer perspective and the actual objective at hand.
What your day will look like
You start your day from home or at our office in Leiden where you check in for a new collective sprint kick-off with the entire team. Here we look back at our past sprint and every team highlights one accomplishment they are most proud of.
Then we look forward to the current sprint and the projects we are working on across our teams. After aligning the intended deliverables for the upcoming sprint, you and the rest of your team get to work. Which consists of a fellow ux designer and full-stack developers.
During the week you have the freedom to further work from home or at the office. When at the office you can meetup with other colleagues from the ux design & development department to discuss projects. Recharge by playing a game of pinball, fussball or an arcade game.
After lunch in our main kantine/restaurant on the ground floor you jump into a meeting with fellow team-members and internal stakeholders from marketing and product teams. Here it is time to go through the progress everyone has made on a new product feature we are aiming to launch.
This is where you shine in presenting your design prototypes based on customer and stakeholders feedback in allignment with the project objectives. After wrapping up a successful meeting you are eager to integrate the new range of input you received. While also adding a new idea of your own which came to you during this last session.
After evolving your designs it’s time to wrap things up for the day, maybe you and some colleagues go and have a drink in our bar. Inspired by our credo; Everything can always be improved’ you head home with the feeling of a productive day and look forward to the rest of the week.
