Your opportunity👋🏻 team.blue is seeking 👀 a Head of Marketing and Communications to join our MarketingTeam in Leiden.

In the Netherlands, team.blue is made up of many brands operating in different businesses mainly domain and web hosting, eCommerce hosting, managed IT services, and fixed broadband networking solutions. TransIP is the lead regional brand.
These brands are served by a centralized performance marketing and communications team. We are looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to lead this centralized team, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer of team.blue Netherlands (NL). In this role you will lead a talented team which includes performance marketers, content writers, graphic & video designers, marketing automation and research specialists focused on the Dutch market.
You will establish the marketing team’s role in our aggressive growth plan. Responsible for the marketing communication strategy and execution for all team.blue brands in NL, you design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals.
What your day will look like👌🏻
As a senior marketing leader, you have hands-on experience with both below the line channels focusing on direct customer conversion metrics and above the line media channels of communication building brand awareness objectives.
Along with your team, take responsibility for end customer engagement across the full life cycle, starting with direct customer acquisition activities and moving through activation and customer success activities that support overall customer retention and build a growing and loyal Dutch customer base.
Utilising a range of channels, but particularly focusing on marketing automation, you will lead cross sell and upsell initiatives driving customer asset values, working with product teams to define product strategy and leverage multiple channels to drive product penetration and ownership.
Build internal stakeholder relationships with sales leadership to ensure marketing campaigns are integrated into existing sales programs and sales capabilities are developed to support cross sell and upsell objectives.
Manage, mentor and coach the marketing communications team; act as a strategic sparring partner for brands and team.blue management
You’ll plan, implement, and measure multi-channel online demand generation programs (Paid Search, organic search website content, Blogs, whitepapers, ad copy, Webinars, etc.) to drive brand awareness, online conversions and inbound pipeline generation, working to annually defined marketing budgets.
Develop a communication platform and with marketing agencies to execute measurable awareness campaigns across broadcast media channels (think TV, VOD/OTT, OOH, Radio, etc.)
Leverage analytics to define, analyse and measure our return on marketing investment by rigorously assessing the relationship between channel acquisition costs and growing customer lifetime values
Drive the development of insights, processes, methodologies, automation technologies and capabilities to run world-class customer acquisition and retention activities in-house
What you have👍🏻
An experienced and well accomplished marketing leader with demonstratable all round marketing experience in a subscription based recurring revenue model, preferably in SaaS/ IT/Telecom/technology industry where competency has been developed primarily in online channels
The ability to demonstrate previous ecommerce website success in previous roles, where success is defined by growth in both sales and customer base.
Fluent Dutch communicator, with full professional proficiency in English to work along with our teams across Europe.
Strong track record of designing and owning a multi-channel media strategy, optimization and ROI management.
Experience in combining conceptual thinking with attention to detail in all aspects of campaign delivery.
Experience of leading a centralized team, engaging with senior leadership team and able to liaise at all levels with passion and confidence.
