team.blue is seeking 👀 a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Tech Team in Amsterdam.

Hypernode is a specialized hosting provider with complete focus on e-commerce. We’re one of the most innovative players in this area worldwide and we’re looking for an experienced software developer to work on exciting projects in web technology. Together with your co-workers you will work on diverse projects such as the Hypernode Control Panel for managed hosting, internal and external APIs and client libraries, the popular Magento security tool MageReport, and various other web services written in Python and Django. As part of a highly motivated development team you will work with multidisciplinary stakeholders from technical, commercial, product and operational perspectives to provide the best possible services for our customers. You’ll participate in a scrum team to develop, improve and maintain Hypernode’s service offering.

Our stack consists of mostly Python, Django, Vue.js, Linux (Debian), but we utilize many different technologies. We value code quality, write automated tests (unit and integration), code review is standard, and we practice continuous delivery. What you have👍🏻

You are a seasoned software developer with a passion for modern web technology that wants to work on solving problems for users in the web-hosting space on the frontier of e-commerce. You care about quality and long term maintainability, and you are also not afraid to think outside of the box in order to solve complicated software engineering challenges spanning multiple systems. You get excited about getting your hands dirty digging all the way down the stack from software development on the web to interacting with servers on the system level. You can find yourself in these following points.

• Professional experience in Python or Django required
• An interest in modern web development and the continuously developing front-end landscape
• Understand browser concepts on a deep level (web vitals, web profiling and page rendering)
• Capable of reasoning about complex systems and many interconnected (micro) services
• Familiar with concepts related to servers and Linux, clusters, domain registration and SSL
• Able to debug and troubleshoot problems across the full stack (frontend, backend, server)
• Bonus points for having a special place in your heart for the Magento community
• Willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule

Hybrid Working
