Your opportunity
The Team Lead Microsoft is a pivotal role, responsible for both the technical excellence and leadership of the Microsoft team. This individual will lead by example, demonstrating technical mastery and people leadership skills to create a high-performing and collaborative environment. The role includes overseeing the management, optimization, and support of Windows-based systems, ensuring system security, compliance, and operational excellence.
What your day will look like
- Lead and inspire the Microsoft team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, building strong relationships to understand their needs, address challenges, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage, maintain, and optimize Windows servers and associated infrastructure.
- Proactively resolve complex technical issues, providing expert guidance to team members and customers.
- Develop and implement advanced Windows engineering solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Ensure the team delivers on key objectives, maintaining adherence to industry best practices and compliance standards.
- Act as a role model for technical expertise, mentoring and developing junior to senior team members.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain solid documentation of solutions and contribute to a shared knowledge base for team growth.

- Windows Server and Azure.
- Middleware (e.g., IIS, MSSQL).
- Configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet).
- Scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell).
- Networking (e.g., FortiGate firewalling).
- GitLab, Confluence and Jira.
What you have
- Extensive hands-on experience managing and optimizing Windows systems and infrastructure.
- Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
- Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to build trust, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to inspire trust and confidence in team members while promoting skill development.
- Deep knowledge of system security, optimization, and industry compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities, with a focus on simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing scalable and secure engineering solutions to meet business and customer objectives.
